PRC Homes Acquires South Bound Brook Condo Project Already in Initial Development Stage and Begins Re-Crafting It for

First-Time Homebuyers

Shift in Project Focus Proves That PRC’s  Philosophy of Creating “Lifestyle Communities” Goes Beyond Shore Resorts and Active Adult Living

June 29, 2010 – West Long Branch, NJ – PRC Homes has just announced that they have taken over a condominium project in South Bound Brook, NJ, already in its initial stages of development by the property’s former owner. The project was originally targeted toward 55-and-older Active Adults, but PRC Homes is altering the development plan to broaden the community’s eventual target audience. PRC Homes’ new plans will result in a condo community geared toward local buyers from their 20’s to 40’s who are ready for an affordable first new home, or for empty-nesters and pre-retirees who want to “down-size” to a low-maintenance condo but don’t want to live in a community that is specifically age-defined. PRC Homes’ new working name for the community is Riverbrook Walk.

PRC Homes is “re-envisioning” Riverbrook Walk as an address for  private and public sector professionals like nurses, teachers, firefighters and police officers, as well as  graduate students and faculty at nearby Rutgers University, just 4 miles away.  PRC’s emerging new development plan will result in a community of 1- and 2-bedroom condos in elevator buildings set on lushly landscaped grounds. The community will ultimately include  90 condominium homes in 5 buildings designed in a traditional style but with some design innovations tailored toward younger residents. All will include open, spacious floorplans, contemporary finishes and private balconies. Riverbrook Walk  will have its own clubhouse that will include a private community fitness center and community rooms.

“We design lifestyle communities for many stages in life, and potential residents of this community are in one of the most important stages – their early career years,” said Greg Lentine, Director of Sales and Marketing for PRC Homes. “So, they’ll want a new home community that enhances their lifestyle with low maintenance, a location close to work and affordability that gives them peace of mind,” Lentine added.

Riverbrook Walk is expected to be available in the fall of this year.
